Clean Eating Basic

Since I'm all about eating healthily and cleanly, I'd like to point out that this dish is for clean eating. You should read Everything You Need to Know About a Clean Eating Diet if you are new to the clean eating lifestyle. You can read more about how I followed a clean eating plan to lose 50 pounds and keep it off here: How I Lost 50 Pounds Through Clean Eating. To keep meals delicious and healthy, I like to experiment and combine flavors.

How to Make Air Fried Steak in the Ninja Foodi

As usual, let's begin by gathering the components. Our ingredients are rather straightforward in this instance. Salt, pepper, and steak with a tiny amount of avocado oil. We really order a half-cow from a nearby farm in upstate New York for farm-raised beef. But occasionally, when the rest of the family is not in motion or we don't defrost a large chunk of meat, I prefer a little steak for myself. The ideal single filet mignon! Here is a link where you can get them online: grass-fed filet migon.

Each steak weighs the ideal 5 oz for a single meal and is vacuum packed.

I appreciate that the beef is hormone- and antibiotic-free and was finished on grass.

Start by taking the steak out of the packaging and giving it a little avocado oil coating. This avocado oil spray is one of my favorites. There are no propellants in it. You may get avocado oil online at this link.

Add salt and pepper to taste after that. Although I don't consume a lot of salt and pepper, I do enjoy a small amount of salt.

How to Cook Steak in Ninja Foodi (Air Fryer)

Now it’s time to get out the Ninja Foodi. This is just great! All in one, it functions as a pressure cooker, slow cooker, air fryer, dehydrator, and more. It makes last-minute cooking ideas simple and dinner preparation a breeze. You can purchase one online at Ninja Foodi if you don't already have one. The recipe for pulled pork includes a video review of the Foodi as well.

There could be a few other ways to cook steak in the Ninja Foodi, I'm sure. I do it this way. We'll be using the silver rack with the rack positioned toward the top of the pot for our air fryer steak dish.

You do not need to add water to the bottom of the pot since we are using the Foodi's air fryer option. Place the steak on the wire rack now.

Put the air fryer's lid on (the lid that is attached to the food, not the pressure cook lid). Decide whether to air crisp or air fry. Set the timer for 17 minutes and the temperature to 375. Next, click Start.

Open the food container lid and turn your air fryer steak over after around 8 minutes, which is the halfway point.

Air Fryer Steak

Of course, everyone has a different ideal degree of doneness for their air fryer steak. Your filet will have a lovely pink center thanks to this air fryer steak recipe. If you prefer your air-fried steak to be a bit more cooked, then I suggest setting your timer for 20 minutes.

Enjoy it while serving it with your preferred side.
